Leah Messer has come a long way since her days on 16 & Pregnant. Over the years, fans watched her go through many ups and downs on Teen Mom 2. Since then, she has promoted her new positive lifestyle and joined a self-help group, which has been accused of being a "cult."
In early October, Leah posted a group photo with the caption, “A powerful, strong, trusting force we are! I love each and every single one of you!! You can count on my word! Each one of you have changed my life and we will forever be connected!! I AM A POWERFUL, CONNECTED, INSPIRATIONAL LEADER! I LOVE ALL OF YOU!” One of the ladies that was tagged in the photo shared more photos from their time in Los Angeles and wrote, “MITT 16 Heaven," with the hashtag, “mitttransformation.”
A few fans in Leah's comments section called the group gathering a "cult" shortly after the photo was shared.
On October 22, Leah tweeted, "We the powerful, authentic, revolutionary leaders of LP16HEAVEN are committed to creating a world of LOVE, FREEDOM, and UNITY!” She used the hashtag “lp16Heaven” and tagged Rihanna, Beyonce, Madonna and Ricky Martin.
RadarOnline.com exclusively revealed that Mastery in Transformational Training (M.I.T.T.) is a California-based organization. According to the website, “These dynamic workshops are a caring, inspirational, and educational environment for generating breakthroughs in the most crucial aspects of your life. You will realize new ways to be more effective, giving and fulfilled in both your personal relationships and your career while experiencing new levels of self-confidence, vitality, joy, and satisfaction. You will see the degree to which your current thinking and behavior is or is not consistent with your highest aspirations and your vision for life. You will discover new possibilities for yourself that are not determined by your past, but generated by your commitment to the future. You will leave this life-altering experience with the tools for immediately creating more of what truly matters to you."
The site also explained the three training sessions for the program. The first one is “The Basic Training,” which is a 5-day workshop and costs $495. The second, “The Advanced Course,” costs $1,195. The final stage, “The Legacy Program,” costs $1,595.

Radar revealed more details about the group based off an article published in 2018 by GQ. The article, “My Life Cleanse: One Month Inside L.A.’s Cult of Betterness,” was written by a former M.I.T.T. member. In the article, he detailed his experience and what he went through within the stages, which included "ground rules" for the program.
He further explained how the final stage, LP, participants are expected to recruit outsiders, which could explained why Leah tagged some of the biggest names in Hollywood in her tweets.
As fans have watched over the years, Leah has been through many ups and downs. She was accused of drug use, checked into rehab in 2015 allegedly for depression and anxiety, went through two public divorces and struggled with custody of her daughters, which was all featured on the reality series. In one episode, she even spoke about her suicidal thoughts.
Over the last few years, Leah has turned her life around, which fans can see on the show. She is releasing a new book, launched a podcast and is always sending out positive messages on social media.
