‘Love & Hip Hop: New York’ Star Chrissy Lampkin Gives Update On Her Engagement To Jim Jones On ‘The Real’

Host Jeannie Mai brought up that very moment and asked Chrissy whether or not the couple still planned on getting married. The LHHNY star shocked audiences and viewers at home when she admitted that it wasn’t currently on her to-do list.

“To be honest, it’s not a priority anymore. Our relationship is in a good place,” the reality star revealed. “I thought it was like the natural progression, but It’s not for everybody. So, we’re good right now.” Host Adrienne Bailon congratulated the reality star on her decision.

Chrissy also opened up about what sparked her return to the franchise. “They said they wanted to get back to the essence of the show," Chrissy explained. “They said ‘come on and help us bring back some sexy,’ but my drama kicked in before the sexy.”

The Chrissy & Mr. Jones star also revealed that since her break from the show, though she never watched an episode she  kept up with the show via social media.

The New York native was also asked what it was like filming with fellow castmate and former on-air nemesis Kimbella Vanderhee. Chrissy and Kimbella, 36,  got into a huge fight during an episode of LHHNY back in 2011. However, Chrissy explained that the two had discussed their past and agreed to move on from their issues.

It was reported earlier this year that Chrissy and Jim would be making their return to the show’s 10^thseason after leaving the franchise in 2012. On November 25, the LHHNY Twitter account quoted Chrissy in a promo tweet. “I’m not here to be DISRESPECTFUL … but I’m not here to be DISRESPECTED,” the account posted.
