Liam Hemsworth and wife Miley Cyrus never would have gotten together a decade ago if it wasn't for a little movie they starred in together called The Last Song. Liam explained how he almost wasn't cast in the role of Will Blakelee in the romantic drama opposite his now-wifey.

While talking with Today show host Willie Geist, he revealed how the Nicholas Sparks novel adaption was his first role in America.

“That was the first job I got in the U.S., and it was literally right at the end of my three-month visa,” the Australian hunk said. “They cast another kid, and it didn’t work out with him.”

The 29-year-old noted, “My agent calls me like, whispering, like ‘You’ve got to go to Disney right now. It’s not working out with the other guy. You’ve got to go in and read with Miley again.'"
