Lil’ Kim was supposed to be on a press tour for her new reality series Girls Cruise and to talk about her upcoming album. However, she revealed she avoided going on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen because he was being “messy.” The rapper hasn’t been on the show since 2012 when she was repeatedly asked about Nicki Minaj.
Lil’ Kim, 44, went on Instagram Live on July 10, slamming Andy and other outlets she was due to have interviews with this week. She claimed she was supposed to appear on WWHL, The View, and Access Hollywood in the now-deleted clip.
“One of the reasons some press appearances aren't happening is because two of the major outlets wanted to be messy. And my publicist and my manager made the executive decision to shut it down,” she began.
Lil’ Kim continued, “At this point, it’s about me, nothing else. I’m that b***h. I refuse to f**king keep doing all of these interviews, publications and all of that if mother f**kers is not gonna respect who I am, what I’ve done, where I’m at now. Put some f***ing respect on my name. Period."
She specifically addressed the Bravo host and said, “There were maybe two publications, one of them being Watch What Happens Live with Andy. I have a cool relationship with Andy, which I thought.”
“I know y’all. Some of my fans y’all get on my nerves. I love y’all but y’all get on my nerves. Y’all don’t understand this s**t is deeper than what y’all know,” she told fans. “If y’all don’t see me doing press, if y’all don’t see me doing certain things, it’s because I’m fighting. I’m f***ing fighting. I’m not just about to have mother f***ers not put respect on my name. So don’t act stupid. Don’t start asking all these dumb questions.”
Lil’ Kim last appeared on WWHL in 2012. At the time, callers kept asking about her longtime feud with Nicki, 36.
