The couple welcomed a beautiful baby boy at 11:01 am Monday morning. He weighed 8 lbs, 7 oz, they revealed in their official birth announcement.
As the family left the hospital, they stopped to pose for a photo-op with the newborn.

According to reports, a concerned Prince William asked his wife, "Are you OK with him?" to which the Duchess replied, "Yes."

However, Kate began to get concerned for the newborn's health in the cold temperature. "It’s a bit windy. He might get cold. Let’s go now," she told her husband, to which William replied, "Sure."
After showing off their little one to well wishers outside the hospital, Kate and Will loaded their son into his car seat and drove home. On the way into his ride, Prince William told the cameras that the public would find out the name of the baby soon. "You’ll find out soon!" he said with a wave, before joking that he and his wife would have "Thrice worry now!"
