Lisa Vanderpump has been mourning the loss of her brother Mark Vanderpump since he died on April 30th. His death was ruled as a suicide by overdose. Lisa, however, didn’t confirm it until the premiere of her show Vanderpump Rules.
The SUR owner was shown on the Monday night premiere of VPR returning to the restaurant for the first time since Mark’s death.
She then confirmed to cameras that her millionaire DJ brother had committed suicide. “It’s been five weeks since my only sibling, my brother who was 16 months older than me, passed away through suicide,” she revealed.
“And for five weeks, I stayed home,” she continued. “Obviously, it just being the two of us, we were more like twins.”

Although the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star had been struggling, she admitted, “It’s been incredibly difficult, but we have to keep moving forward and make the people that were so important in our lives proud as they watch down over us.”
Following her brother's sudden passing, Lisa told reporters that she'd just spoken to him the day before he died. “This has come as a shock to us all. My brother and I had connected the day before this tragedy and I was completely unprepared for this,” she said.
