Good Morning America host Michael Strahan congratulated the 1D star on his “upcoming fatherhood” after reports emerged he was expecting a baby with Briana Jungwirth.
"Obviously it's a very exciting time, so I'm buzzing," he said.

According to reports, Tomlinson did not expect the pregnancy with Jungwirth, who he met over the Fourth of July weekend but is not dating. His One Direction bandmates, who became four after Zayn Malik ditched the band, did not know either!
“Obviously I was a bit shocked, but he's taken super well to it," Liam Payne said. "He's very excited with what's going on with him at the moment and I feel that stuff like that happens sometimes. He's taking it very seriously."

As for life in 1D without Malik, Payne said: "Well, I mean, obviously it's different, but, you know, when you lose a member of your team obviously everyone gets a little bit close together.”
