Mackenzie McKee didn’t make the cut for Teen Mom yet again, but the former TM3 star said she has no hard feelings towards the new stars Bristol Palin and Cheyenne Floyd over the casting snub!

As OK! readers know, MTV scrambled to find a replacement for Farrah Abraham when she was fired from the show late last year. While Mackenzie was in the running for the show, MTV ultimately hired Bristol and Cheyenne.

Mackenzie went through a similarly disappointing process when MTV hired Briana DeJesus instead of her to join the cast of Teen Mom 2 last year. When Cheyenne’s hiring was confirmed last week, Mackenzie tweeted, “I’ve been done real dirty this year let’s just say that.”

However, in an exclusive interview with RadarOnline.com, Mackenzie said she wishes the new stars only the best. “It’s obvious what is going on right now and that’s okay,” she told the site. “I have nothing bad to say about anyone. I am happy for them all. These girls have a great opportunity and I hope they use it in a positive way,” she told the site.

Mackenzie’s mother has been battling cancer, and she admitted she was hoping she could tell her mom’s story on television to help others. “Many out there have loved ones dealing with cancer and through my mom, I wanted to inspire those people to go out and live your best life, even if you’re told you have 4-12 months. Some way somehow I will make sure she doesn’t leave this earth without inspiring the world. Unfortunately, it’s just not a story MTV is interested in,” she said.

“I went through dark days and I am a suicide attempt survivor. When I got through mental illness, I knew I was called to share my story. So maybe on another platform I can help others,” Mackenzie hoped. “I’m going to keep shining and focus on my mom and fitness journey. 2018 has been as s****y as it gets for me, but I will get through it.”
