Ziegler recently opened up about her “hard decision” to leave the Lifetime show after six seasons and her childhood dance teacher Abby Lee Miller to pursue her career.

“Leaving Dance Moms was a hard decision to make— I was one of the originals—but it was getting too stressful,” she told Seventeen magazine. “Now, I feel like I’m so free.”
