Mariah Carey Reveals What It’s Like Watching Herself Try On Wedding Dresses Post James Packer Split

It’s Mariah’s world and we’re just living in it! Mariah Carey revealed that watching footage of herself trying on wedding dresses, from her upcoming reality show, Mariah’s World, brought up a mix of emotions.

“All of those moments are bittersweet, but you just have to focus on whatever you’re focusing on and keep it moving,” the pop icon told Entertainment Tonight.

And when it comes to watching scenes that feature her ex-fiancé, James Packer, Mariah feels no different about that footage than any other of her documented scenes.

“No it’s not hard to watch scenes with him. Life’s what it’s supposed to be and everything happens for a reason,” the singer told People. “It’s a part of my life I’ll always remember but it’s not what’s going on right now.

Mariah and James split in September after an alleged incident during their family vacay in Mykonos, Greece.

While the two have gone their separate ways they are reportedly in quite the legal battle over what Mariah is calling a $50 million “inconvenience fee.”
