Could Meghan King Edmonds be returning to Real Housewives of Orange County anytime soon? The series' alum revealed she might be coming back full time for season 15 next year.
Meghan, 35, left the franchise after season 12 aired in 2018. RHOC is currently in its 14th season and even though she made a guest appearance, the Bravo star is thinking about staying for good.
The mother of three confessed on December 6 at the 2019 iHeart Jingle Ball Tour in Los Angeles her hopes for her future return. “I walked away because of the twins. I was pregnant with twins. I miss the show. I liked it,” she told HollywoodLife.com. Meghan shares twins Hayes and Hart and daughter Aspen with estranged husband Jim Edmonds.
When asked if she would come back as a full time housewife, she responded, "Yeah, I think so. ... I told Andy Cohen that I really want to consider coming back as a ‘friend’, but I’m kind of not really dead set on it yet. So if he asked me to come back I’d be like, ‘Well, let’s talk.'” However, the blogger said she's "busy" with her kids so her future is still uncertain. Meghan joined the show in season nine as a guest then became a full-fledged housewife for seasons 10 to 12.
On January 23, 2018, Meghan announced she was leaving RHOC and detailed her departure in a blog post. "Goodbye RHOC," she titled it. "Today is a bittersweet day for me. After three seasons of the rollercoaster that is the Real Housewives of Orange County I’ve decided to hang up my OC Housewife hat," she began.
"I arrived at this multi-faceted decision after much thought, and then I thought some more. As you might suspect filming this show takes a massive emotional toll. I’m literally filming my real life in real time and engaged in situations and circumstances which can be contentious," she wrote. "Then, when the show airs, we relive some of the most trying moments in our lives and then endure the public’s reaction; we never come out as winners to every viewer. But what you might not suspect is the physical toll: filming is grueling."
Meghan is currently entangled in a messy split with Jim, 49, after he was accused of cheating with his kids' nanny this past October. The baseball player has since denied the allegations and has been trying to win back Meghan ever since.
