Meghan Markle’s dad Thomas has made it known he feels the royal family has cut him off from having a relationship with his daughter. However, Thomas and Meghan may have never been close to begin with. While Thomas blamed a heart attack for preventing him from attending Meghan’s wedding to Prince Harry in May, it turns out he didn’t attend Meghan’s first wedding either!

Unlike Thomas, Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland managed to fly in for the destination nuptials. Doria was even photographed paddling with Meghan in the ocean.
Then at Meghan’s wedding to Prince Harry this past May, Thomas was once again nowhere to be found. Although he was expected to walk Meghan down the aisle, he admitted to working with the paparazzi to stage flattering photos just days prior and later suffered a heart attack.
Since Meghan and Harry’s wedding, Thomas has made a habit of dishing about how bad his relationship with Meghan — or lack there of — has gotten. He recently said it would be better for his daughter if he was dead.
