Are Prince Harry and Meghan Markle expecting another royal baby?! During their visit on November 6 with military families at Windsor’s Broom Farm Community Centre in the heart of an Army housing estate, the royal couple appeared to drop hints that Meghan, 38, was pregnant.
Susie Strongfellow, an attendee at the event, chatted with Prince Harry, 35, and said he asked parents what it was like having a second child. “Harry was really quite interested in how things were with second children as well, because we both have older children,” she recalled.
“We were trying to encourage him to have a second baby,” she added. Victoria Tucker, another military wife spoke to the Duke about how hard deployment can be for families. “They were talking about army life, being away for Christmas…they can compare with us,” she said. “They didn’t want to miss anything, with their little boy now, just how our husbands miss their children.”
Prince Harry, who served in the military for 10 years, acknowledged how difficult it could be. “It’s unbelievably hard. I have so much respect and admiration for anyone who has to deal with that,” the prince said. “I can’t imagine what it’s like to miss so much as they change so quickly.”
The former Suits actress also shared some exciting updates about Archie, 6 months. When speaking to a little girl at the event, she spoke about her son’s growing teeth. “Look at all your little teeth!” Meghan exclaimed. “Archie just got two teeth, two tiny ones right there,” she said, as she gestured to her bottom gum.
The Duchess also mentioned that Archie is crawling. Amy Thompson, another mom, discussed what it was like when a baby starts to move around on their own. “My daughter Aeris is the same age as Archie, and we talked about weaning and the children beginning to crawl,” she shared. Amy also noted how personable Meghan was. “She’s just a normal mum, and it was like talking to a friend,” she recalled.
In July, Prince Harry revealed to British Vogue that he and the Duchess only plan on having two children, as an effort to save the planet amid the terrifying effects of climate change.
