With less than two months to go, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have finally picked the florist for their May wedding!

The Kensington Palace announced this morning that the couple had chosen floral designer Philippa Craddock to create the church flowers for their May 19th wedding at Windsor Castle.
According to the Kensington Palace, Philippa will use locally sourced foliage for the couple’s nuptials, including foliage taken from “the gardens and parkland of The Crown Estate and Windsor Great Park.”

Philippa will also use flowers and plants in season in May “where possible.” These include “branches of beech, birch and hornbeam, as well as white garden roses, peonies and foxgloves.”
The flowers will even be sustainable! Philippa plans to use “pollinator-friendly plants” from the Royal Parks’ wildflower meadows. “These plants provide a great habitat for bees and help to nurture and sustain entire ecosystems by promoting a healthy and biodiverse environment,” the Kensington Palace explained.
In a statement, Philippa said she was “excited and honored” to design Harry and Meghan’s flowers and called working with them “an absolute pleasure.” “The final designs will represent them as a couple, which I always aim to achieve in my work, with local sourcing, seasonality and sustainability being at the forefront,” she shared.
