Meghan Markle Is Back On Instagram & She Brought Along Prince Harry!

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are tackling more than just parenthood in the next few months! While Meghan, 37, deactivated all of her social media accounts months before officially joining the royal family in May 2018, the couple introduced their very own official Instagram account on Tuesday, April 2. The Kensington Royal Twitter account announced the couple's Instagram debut. "Welcome to Instagram, SussexRoyal! Follow for more on the work of The Duke and Duchess of Sussex," they tweeted.

“Welcome to our official Instagram; we look forward to sharing the work that drives us, the causes we support, important announcements, and the opportunity to shine a light on key issues," the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's first post read.

"We thank you for your support, and welcome you to @sussexroyal - Harry & Meghan," their note concluded alongside a blue and white text photo.

Traditionally, members of the royal family are not typically allowed to have social media accounts due to maintaining a positive image and brand. That being said, Meghan and Harry's Instagram account will most likely be extremely filtered and professional — similar to the Kensington Royal and The Royal Family accounts.

It does not appear that Prince William and Kate Middleton will be making their own Cambridge account at this time but you can still get updates on them on the Kensington Palace Instagram.

Included in their 1.1 million followers (as of publication) are many celebrities, including Blake Lively, Gwyneth Paltrow, Emma Roberts, and even Priyanka Chopra — who is rumored to no longer be good friends with Meghan.
