OK Or Not OK? Meghan Markle Redesigns Her Royal Engagement Ring

One year after Meghan Markle and Prince Harry tied the knot, the royal updated her engagement ring and is now rocking some new bling! The Duchess of Sussex redesigned the three-stone piece for a brand new look.

The 37-year-old's original ring consisted of a yellow gold band. She handpicked a special diamond from Botswana for the center stone.  The center diamond was also framed with with two stones from Harry's late mother, Princess Diana's personal collection.

Now, the ring has a thinner pavé band instead of the yellow gold setting.

Fans first spotted the former Suits star's alterations during her appearance at the Trooping the Colour celebration.

Mace Blickman from jewel company Jerry Blickman, Inc. shed some light on the redesign."Meghan replaced a plain yellow gold shank with a thinner yellow gold shank with micro-pavé diamonds. It's a more modern and more popular look right now. It makes the ring more delicate without being showy. It's sophisticated and chic," he revealed to E! News.

Meghan also sported the updated band when she debuted her son, Archie Harrison, to the world last month.

Harry and Meghan made hearts swoon on May 19, 2018, when the pair wedded at St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle. Harry proposed to his beloved on in November 2017 with the original three-stone ring.
