Melissa Joan Hart told the hosts of Studio 10 that she was 'smitten' with her Sabrina The Teenage Witch co-star Ryan Reynolds. While she had a boyfriend at the time, she confessed that she "should have taken a chance."

Studio 10 co-host Jessica Rowe pressed Hart on what it was like to work with Reynolds. "He was sweet," she said. "I had a boyfriend at the time, but we were smitten and cute."

"He was adorable," Hart gushed. "He was a really nice guy. He probably would have been a great boyfriend than the other guy, so maybe I should have taken a chance."

Reynolds, who is now married to actress Blake Lively, filmed scenes for the 1996 film Sabrina, which eventually turned into the TV series. He and Lively have two adorable kids together, daughters Ines, 6 months, and James, 2 years.

The actress told news.come.au earlier this month that she and Reynolds hung out off-camera during their Sabrina days.  "Ryan and I worked really well together," she said. "We had a lot of fun in Vancouver," where the show was filmed. "He's from there, and he'd just show me around."

"He and I would take off on the weekends and go to Seattle for music festivals," Hart said.
