Mercedes “MJ” Javid looks to be in good spirits, even though she’s always at the epicenter of the drama on Shahs of Sunset. The reality star decided it was time to do some major renovations on her home, especially with how rough it looked when it was shown on the hit Bravo show. Click through to see the major upgrades on her new digs!
She took to her Instagram and shared multiple pics of the colorful & fabulous renovations, which were initially kicked off by herself and her fellow Shahs, but it looks like she decided to go solo on this one!
Her new wall features poetry by Rumi, a 13th century Persian Sunni Muslim poet and mystic, and was handpainted by designer Ryan Black & Blackbird Chateau. "Translation: Water never tire of fish nor do fish ever tire of water Spirit is never tired of lovers, Nor lovers,” she captions.
She worked with some of the top furniture designers for the renovation of her dining room and living room, including Milo Baughman, French designer Philippe Starck, and Charles Hollis Jones.

Her dining room looks very inviting and relaxing, with marble coffee tables and star-shaped chandeliers adorning the upgraded space. MJ’s living room had similarly upgraded aesthetics, which paired a more bohemian design with shag pillows and three different types of seating arrangements.
Now that she has her home renovated and looking great, will we be seeing her drama unfold inside of it for any upcoming episodes?
