Michael Bublé and his wife Luisana Lopilato have welcomed a baby girl! It’s much-needed happy news for the couple, whose eldest child, Noah, was previously diagnosed with cancer.
“How to explain that our heart explodes with love?” Luisana captioned a black and white photo of their daughter’s hand. On the baby’s tiny wrist is a small hospital band that reads “baby girl.”
“There’s not enough hours in a day to think about it. I thank God for making us this gift of life and happiness!” Luisana, who is from Argentina, wrote in her native Spanish. “Because looking in her eyes is looking at heaven itself!”
“We love you to infinity and beyond. We waited for you not only to grow as a family … you gave us light, hope, you are and will be our souls’ life,” she finished.
Michael and Luisana revealed they were expecting baby number three in February. Then in July, Michael announced on Today Fm radio’s The Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show that he had his “first little girl coming in three weeks.” “I’ve actually never said that before in public. I’ve got a daughter coming,” he shared.
The baby girl joins older brothers Elias, 2 and a half, and Noah, 5. In 2016, the family announced Noah had been diagnosed with liver cancer. In 2017, Luisana spoke of her son’s cancer battle and revealed that “the worst is over.”
