Miley Cyrus and Mark Ronson went on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday, December 20. Rather than performing their new single, “Nothing Breaks Like A Heart,” Miley took the stage and sang a feminist version of the 1953 Christmas hit “Santa Baby.”
She told host Jimmy Fallon that she “might need to change a few of these lyrics” ahead of their skit.
Miley then slammed the lyrics of the original song. She questioned, “Am I saying I’m gonna hook up with Santa if he buys me all this stuff?”
She sung about not needing presents and having a “baller car” that she bought on her own. Miley crooned, “Don’t want diamonds, cash, or stuff / Nothing that comes in a box / No more fluff, I’ve had enough / And I can buy my own damn stuff!”

Miley then sung about important issues she wants solved for Christmas: “Listen Santa to what I say / A girl’s best friend is equal pay / So stop interrupting me when I talk / And don’t text me pictures of your ¬– .” Her verse was cut off by Mark’s phone ringing.
Lastly, she sang lyrics dedicated to the Me Too movement. “Santa baby, I’d love to know my a** won’t get grabbed / At work/By some ignorant jerk / Tell the dirt bags, to put away their chimneys tonight,” she sang.
