Miley Cyrus wants Liam Hemsworth to pledge his allegiance to the good ol’ US of A!
“She loves Australia and would never try to deprive Liam of his sovereignty,” an insider exclusively told OK!. “But she’d dearly love for him to prove he’s serious about America by becoming a citizen.”
“It would bring tax benefits for them too, especially now they’re homeowners together in Nashville,” added the source.

“Liam’s not against it, but his family might find it a little weird – especially since they’d love him and Miley to move back to Australia at least six months of the year,” said the insider.
As OK! readers’ know, Miley and Liam rekindled their romance in early 2016, after becoming engaged in 2012 and then calling off the engagement in 2013. Miley confirmed that the two were once again engaged in October 2016.
