Before his whirlwind romance to Miranda Lambert, Brendan McLoughlin was previously engaged and allegedly had a baby with a woman who wasn’t his fiancée. According to a source close to the couple, Brendan hoped his then-fiancée, Jackie Bruno, would help raise the new child.
The source told AMI that once Jackie found out about Brendan’s alleged cheating, "he begged her to take him back” and he promised “to go to counseling.”
The insider also claimed the 27-year-old NYPD officer wanted “Jackie to help him raise the kid, but she was like no way."
“He knew once Jackie found out about the baby she would leave him,” the source explained.
The source claimed that because of the unexpected child, Brendan wanted to speed up their planned nuptials. “He told her they didn't have to wait for a wedding, he wanted to do it in city hall,” the insider said. “It was his way of keeping her from leaving him.”
Brendan and Miranda tied the knot on Valentine’s Day after a whirlwind three-month-long romance.
