NeNe Leakes’ return for The Real Housewives of Atlanta ninth season may again be in jeopardy now that the reality TV vet is facing new casting feud rumors!
According to reports, Leakes has been absent from the filming of RHOA’s new season as she continues to tackle several of her own business ventures.
The reports said that producers for RHOA have added at least one new member to the show’s cast. However, despite hopes from fans that she’d be coming back full-time, the reports added that producers for RHOA are now unsure if Leakes will be making a return during the new season.

Leakes’ latest casting drama comes weeks after a source told RadarOnline.com that Leakes was wrapped in some tense contract negotiations for RHOA’s Season 9. “NeNe has a lot of production deals in the works,” the source said. “And that is what she wants to do, more than just be a housewife BUT she knows where her money comes from and it comes from Bravo.”
The source added that Leakes knows she has a great deal of bargaining power as Season 9 approaches. “NeNe is not dumb. She does exactly what needs to be done on RHOA,” the source said. “She is not afraid to fight with anyone and her take on every story is what the fans want. No one cares about the random ladies on the show. NeNe is the one they tune in to watch.”
And on Tuesday, Leakes offered her own response to the talk that she was too booked to come back to RHOA, hinting that her comeback is definitely still a possibility!
