Music has and always will be a huge part of our lives. We all have our favorite pop divas — Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey and Britney Spears — who always manage to brighten our day when we hear their voices.

10 CONFESSIONS FROM MARIAH CAREY'S MEMOIR: LOVE, CHILDHOOD ABUSE & HER 'LAMBS'

However, some artists took advantage of the quarantine. For example, Taylor Swift released her chart-topping album Folklore, while OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder revealed that his band's upcoming album, Human, has several tracks that were written during self-isolation.

Ariana Grande shocked everyone when she tweeted, "I can’t wait to give u my album this month," delivering the best news of the year (so far).

Miley Cyrus — ‘Plastic Hearts’

The Disney alum announced her upcoming seventh album, Plastic Hearts, on Instagram earlier this month. "If you’re reading this … know that I f**king love and appreciate you on the deepest level. I began this album over 2 years ago. Thought I had it all figured out," she wrote alongside the black and pink album art for Plastic Hearts. "Not just the record with its songs and sounds but my whole f**king life. No one checks an ego like life itself. Just when I thought the body of work was finished … it was ALL erased. Including most of the musics relevance. Because EVERYTHING had changed."

Cyrus noted that "nature did what I now see as a favor and destroyed what I couldn’t let go of for myself," she said, referring to the California wildfires. "I lost my house in a fire but found myself in its ashes."

"Luckily my collaborators still had most of the music that was burned up in journals and computers filled with songs for the EP series I was working on at the time. But it never felt right to release my 'story' (each record being a continual autobiography) with a huge chapter missing," she said. Fortunately, Cyrus is blessing us with new tunes sooner rather than later!

"Obviously, because of what's happened the last six months, it felt a little bit desensitive calling the album that," Smith told NPR. Smith calls the upcoming new album "sad and pensive," and TBH, we're totally here for it.
