Apparently Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ engagement party was pretty wild—even his mom Denise, 52, got up and started dancing despite having a “lack of dance skills!” Read on for the latest.
There was A LOT going on at Priyanka and Nick’s engagement party in India earlier this month. First of all, it was the first time both sets of parents met each other.
And it was the first time Denise and her husband Paul had been to India.
So, a lot could have gone horribly awry. But thankfully for Denise, the only snafu was that she had a “lack of dance skills,” which she recalled in a hilarious video post on Instagram.
Featured in the video was also Priiyanka’s mom Madhu. Denise captioned it, “Thank you @madhumalati for being patient with my lack of dance skills! I miss you. #engagementparty”
Her so-called lacking moves on the dance floor were certainly not enough to dampen the mood of the occasion. Madhu couldn’t hide her excitement for their children’s upcoming nuptials as she wrote in a separate post on her own Instagram, which featured a selfie with her husband Ashok, “New reason and season for “’Joy.’” Clearly the parents’ first meeting was a HUGE success!
