During the January 30 episode, The Unicorn contestant was unmasked and revealed to be Tori Spelling. The big reveal came as a total surprise to the 40-year-old and the rest of her co-judges. "When The Unicorn revealed herself, I was completely like, 'Oh my gosh, I totally see it now. Why didn't I get it?'" Nicole told Entertainment Tonight.

Nicole used the poignant moment as evidence the show is more than just a quirky singing competition. "I just love the fact that these contestants feel like the world has judged them or feel like the world places a lot of judgment on them, and they want to be able to share who they really are," the former X-Factor UK judge shared. "Not by what they think they are but who they are in their heart."

She also said she believed the anonymity of the show creates a supportive environment in which participants can “take that stage and sing and really tell their own true authentic story."
