The Oscars didn't have quite as many musical performances as the Grammy Awards because duh, this one's about the films, guys. But there were still quite a few music breaks in between doling out awards. Here's a recap of the show's performances and spoiler alert: Lady Gaga was amazing

For his opening number, Neil Patrick Harris was joined onstage by Anna Kendrick as well as Jack Black for a musical sequence called "Moving Pictures." Fun fact—this song was written by the same people who wrote the tunes in Frozen!

Country singer Tim McGraw performed "I'm Not Gonna Miss You" from the documentary Glen Campbell…I'll Be Me.

Even though The Lego Movie got snubbed in the Best Animated Feature Film category, the performance of the movie's theme song was probably the best of the night! Tegan & Sara and The Lonely Island brought a burst of energy to the room with their colorful and fun rendition.

Adam Levine and his band, Maroon 5, performed "Lost Stars" from the musical drama Begin Again in which Adam starred opposite Keira Knightley.

Rita Ora—who can maybe be considered a movie star now that she has four lines in Fifty Shades of Grey—sang "Grateful," the theme song to Beyond The Lights, which was nominated for Best Original Song.

Right after the "In Memorium" tribute, which Meryl Streep introduced, Jennifer Hudson took the stage to perform and this black dress is everything.

Lady Gaga proved yet again that she has the voice of an angel when she performed  a medley of songs from The Sound of Music, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary. Then Julie Andrews came on stage to hug Gaga and said that the performance "warmed her heart," so basically Gaga's life is made forever.
