PHOTOS8 Developments On The Indictments Of Paul Manafort & Rick Gates

Special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation of possible collusion between foreign governments and the Trump campaign has resulted in its first indictments. On October 30, Donald Trump's former campaign manager Paul Manafort and his business partner Rick Gates were indicted on 12 counts.
Included in the 12 counts are conspiracy against the United States, conspiracy to launder money, acting as a foreign agent, and failure to file foreign bank accounts.
"Manafort and Gates engaged in a multi-million dollar lobbying campaign in the United states at the direction of Viktor Yanukovych, the Party of Regions, and the Government of the Ukraine," the indictment read.
Manafort was fired from the Trump campaign in August 2016 amid allegations that he had received $12M in undisclosed payments from the Ukrainian president.
The 68-year-old was expected to surrender himself to authorities following the indictment.
He was seen entering an FBI field office in Washington, D.C. with his attorney early Monday morning.
Manafort's residence was raided back in July as part of the ongoing investigation into his activities.
Both Manafort and Gates have denied any wrongdoing.
