Though the pair still have yet to confirm their split, eagle-eyed fans noticed that Pete’s Instagram account did a total disappearing act.

This isn’t the first time the funnyman has deactivated his account. A few months ago he fled social media after calling it “an evil place.”

Last month, the SNL star also revealed to radio host Howard Stern that not only did social media make him feel bad about himself, but he also received death threats. At the time he explained, “I got a death threat. Someone wanted to shoot me in the face. Because Ariana's so hot.”

According to a source who spoke to The Blast, after a emotionally draining few months, Ariana realized that she needed a little time to “work on herself.”
