The 19 Kids And Counting stars made appearances on Extra and FOX and Friends days after their announcement that they were having a boy.

The happy couple told FOX and Friends that they would be “filming during the rest of our pregnancy” as well as doing home video diaries. “They’ll be following up throughout our pregnancy,” Jill said.

Jill and Derick also talked about growing their family even larger! When asked if they will have 19 kids of their own someday, Jill said: "We'll wait and see. We are open to as many children as God will give us. We're also open to adoption. Derek's momma was adopted."

The couple revealed that they were actually expecting a girl, but were elated to hear the news they were having a boy.

But in an interview with People, Derick said he was “really excited” to be having a boy! "As a new dad, to have a firstborn son to be our first child and be the leader of his siblings, it is very special," he said.
