"I’m shocked by a lot of things the writers do on the show so it’s hard to go back and pinpoint one but I have to say for my character it was the Nate storyline—I really didn’t think they were going to bring that into play. It was very dramatic. It was one of my favorite scenes because I love the action stuff. I like the fighting. It was very thrilling for me but I think I was just very shocked when I read it in the script to be like, 'Okay, you’re taking Maya’s character who just died, Emily’s girlfriend, and making her cousin, but not cousin, now follow Emily…you guys are so twisted!'"

"I would have to say Ezra getting shot. I’m going to get some backlash for this from the Spoby fans but I kind of always suspected that Toby was up to no good. There was just something about him and Keegan (Allen) is great at playing a bunch of different things at the same time so I always thought he could be on the A team. So I would say that Ezra was more shocking."

"I want to say probably when they made it seem like Ezra was A for a while and kind of used Aria and then fell in love with her. I was like, 'Why did you do that?' Hopefully they’ll find their way back."

"The black and white episode was pretty cool. We had never done anything like that so that was really fun and something completely new for all of us."

"I guess maybe Ali’s mom burying her. That was crazy for me. I was like how are we going to…and I’m excited because now I know the reason why, but I was like how does a mother bury their own child?"

"I think the fact that I make out with my brother. Hello? Not ok! Step brother, but I think it’s still odd. It’s kind of cool that they can teeter on the edge of certain subjects. I think it’s pretty awesome in this day and age we can do stuff like that on a TV show. It’s odd but interesting!"

"I think the fact that Alison’s back is very intriguing to Caleb. I think he probably has his suspicions as to why and what really went on. Her return is also affecting Hanna. He’s still in love with Hanna so there’s a lot that he needs to be caught up on and he’s going to question it."
