Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Make 1st Appearance Together Since Leaving The Royal Family

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle sent shock waves through the world when they announced they would be stepping down as senior members of the Royal Family last month. But the couple seem to be taking the exit in stride, as they made their first joint public appearance together in Miami on February 6.

Meghan, 38, and Harry, 35, attended a private JPMorgan event at 1 Hotel in South Beach. Harry even gave a special speech to the attendees.“It was all very hush-hush, with a lot of security. Meghan and Harry headlined the event as the keynote speakers," a source told Page Six about the bash.

Meghan and Harry have been living in Canada with their nine-month-old son Archie. The former Suits star was apparently "so happy" to be starting a new life with her husband. An insider told Us Weekly in January, “She doesn’t come from millions. She’s worked hard to get to where she is today.”

“Meghan loves the idea of being the breadwinner,” the source continued. “She has no plans to do another show like Suits, but Harry’s been encouraging her to do more voiceover work, writing, producing and directing in her free time.” Harry even helped the Los Angeles native to pitch a Disney CEO about doing some voiceover work.

On January 16, Harry made his first solo appearance since the news of his royal exit surfaced. He met with local children in the Buckingham Palace gardens as he hosted the Rugby League World Cup 2021. On January 14, Meghan was spotted for the first time boarding a plane alone to Vancouver. Upon landing, she visited a women’s center.
