Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are expected to welcome 2020 in style. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are reportedly spending New Year’s Eve in a $13M waterfront mansion in Canada with Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland, along with baby Archie.

According to U.K. news outlet The Mirror, the mansion is complete with a pizza oven in the kitchen, a game room, a two-story living room, and a wine tasting room. The extravagant house also boasts many bedrooms and bathrooms. Meghan, 38, and Harry, 35, have allegedly spent the past two weeks there, and are expected to leave on January 3.

The exact location of the property has not been revealed. A local deli owner told The Mirror that it’s not surprising that the Royals would chose this mansion for their sabbatical. “It’s an incredible property, and one of the most prestigious around here," the owner said. “I wasn’t surprised when I found out Harry and Meghan are staying there. It’s certainly fit for royalty."

The royal couple has been taking an extended break from royal duties since the end of November. Buckingham Palace announced in November that they would spend 7-month-old Archie’s first Christmas with Doria, 63. They also spent Thanksgiving in Los Angeles together, marking the baby’s first time to America.

Weeks later, on December 20, their spokesperson confirmed their Christmas plans. "Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are spending private family time in Canada. The decision to base themselves in Canada reflects the importance of this Commonwealth country to them both. For security reasons we will not be releasing any further details and request that their privacy is respected," they revealed in a statement to Us Weekly.

The statement continued, “The Duke of Sussex has been a frequent visitor to Canada over many years, and it was also home to The Duchess for seven years before she became a member of the Royal Family. They are enjoying sharing the warmth of the Canadian people and the beauty of the landscape with their young son.”
