The countdown is on for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding, as it is only seven days away! Kensington Palace just revealed a major detail about their upcoming nuptials, which revolves around who will be giving the address at the event of the year.
Kensington Palace revealed on Saturday morning that Bishop Michael Bruce Curry, who hails from Chicago, Illinois, will give the address at their wedding on May 19th.
"The love that has brought and will bind Prince Harry and Ms. Meghan Markle together has its source and origin in God, and is the key to life and happiness,” Bishop Curry said in a statement. "And so we celebrate and pray for them today.”
Bishop Curry, who is the 27th Presiding Bishop and Primate of The Episcopal Church, will travel to Windsor to take part in the service which is taking place at St. George’s Chapel.

He will join the Dean of Windsor, the Rt. Tev. David Conner, as well as the Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby, who will officiate the service.
An insider revealed to PEOPLE that the couple went through a number of possibilities for a preacher. The source said that although Bishop Curry is not personally known to either of them, they felt that he is a "wonderful speaker and preacher” and that "it would be highly appropriate for him to be invited to speak,” given the fact that he is the Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church.
