Real Housewives of New York City star Bethenny Frankel has found love! During the May 22 episode, her boyfriend, Paul Bernon, made his on air debut and the rest of the RHONY ladies expressed nothing but support for their relationship.

“Bethenny’s been on the phone with Paul a lot lately,” Sonja Morgan said during her confessional interview. “It’s getting real serious.”

Though Paul made a voice-only appearance, a smitten Bethenny seemed to bask in his presence.

On the after-show, her castmates expressed their approval. “I really like him,” Tinsley Mortimer said. “He’s great. He’s adorable and he’s cool and he’s fun.”

Sonja explained that Paul helped Bethenny work through her grief after the death of ex-boyfriend Dennis Shields.

I don’t think she necessarily moved on from Dennis,” Sonja said, “But having Paul to hold her hand allowed her to cope better.”

“I don’t think there’s any rules or guidelines for grief,” Dorinda Medley said. “And I don’t think anyone should comment on it. I think everybody does the best they can and if that means having a friend or dating, then you do whatever it takes to move through it.”
