Cynthia Bailey invited Kenya Moore to a filmed Real Housewives of Atlanta event against the wishes of Nene Leakes. The model claimed she didn’t tell Nene because she wasn’t sure Kenya would show up but a new recording says otherwise!
Nene, 51, met up with Cynthia, 52, Kandi Burruss and Tanya Sam to smooth over their friendship on the March 31 season finale. Prior to the sit-down, Cynthia called Kandi, 42, and said, “I just want to make sure we’re on the same page, setting up how Kenya got there.”
Nene called out Cynthia during the dinner and said, “When you did your winery thing you knew that Kenya was going to be coming.”
“No, that’s not true,” Cynthia interjected. Kandi backed her friend up and said, “She didn’t know she was supposed to come.”
Behind the scenes of the event, Cynthia revealed to Mike Hill, “I’m supposed to act like I didn’t know Kenya was coming.”
Nene instead whether or not Cynthia knew Kenya, 48, was coming she should have “picked up the phone and said, ‘Nene I’ve invited Kenya. I don’t know whether she’s coming or not but I just want to let you know.’” Nene also revealed she heard Kandi say at the event, “You said you wanted Kenya here and she’s here!”
