Kenya Moore must be happy to reportedly be coming back to Real Housewives of Atlanta for season 12, because she needs the paycheck! The reality star was just hit with an $150,000 tax lien in her home state of Georgia. Scroll through for details!
Kenya, 48, owes the IRS a whopping $152,678.36 according to court records filed in Fulton County, GA, and obtained by RadarOnline.com. The Fulton County Clerk of Court confirmed to the outlet that the lien has still not been released.
Kenya was fired from RHOA in 2018 after refusing to film certain parts of her personal life, like her marriage to husband Marc Daly. The ousting caused her to lose her $1.5 million a season salary.
She is set to return for the upcoming season, but her salary has been cut in half to just $500,000, and if she doesn't bring the drama, she could be dropped from the Bravo franchise entirely.
"Her status is up in the air until filming is over, and they see what she delivers. Kenya needs to share everything this season if she wants to be back full-time," an insider told RadarOnline.com.
She's not the only peach holder to experience tax issues! Porsha Williams was hit with a $240,624 federal tax lien in March 2019 but has since paid her debts.
Kenya's hubby Marc, 45, owed Uncle Sam $150,000 in backed taxes back in December 2017 but paid up before they wed on June 10, 2017, in a secret Caribbean ceremony.
