Eileen Davidson’s world was rocked with tragedy when she lost her niece, Brooke Watkins, on Mother’s Day in 2014. The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star penned a touching dedication to her on Instagram on Tuesday, May 14. Read on for all the details.

“We said goodbye to my beautiful niece Brooke 5 years ago last weekend,” Eileen, 59, captioned a photo of her late family member. “We love and miss this sweet soul every day.”

Brooke was 35 when she passed. According to The National Enquirer, she died of an apparent drug overdose.

It was an extremely rough time for Eileen. Her sister Connie died of cancer two months before in March.

Eileen had to endure another personal tragedy earlier this year when her Young and the Restless costar Kristoff St. John suddenly passed on Sunday, February 3. He was 52 years old.
