Kyle Richards shared her thoughts on her sister Kim Richards' upcoming tell-all memoir, The Whole Truth: The Reality of It All. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star revealed on February 12 that she was surprised to learn about the news.
The Little House on the Prairie star continued, “I mean, she started saying she was working on, you know, something and I didn’t really — I don’t really know a lot about it. All I know is we’re in a good place, so hopefully we’re going to stay there.”
Kim, 55, announced she would be penning a memoir on February 4. HarperCollins Publishing released the book description at the time. The blurb stated, "The Whole Truth is the harrowing, all-too-real and ultimately empowering story of a woman who has been through hell and back, endured, grew strong and learned to become her own fiercest advocate."
The description continued, "It is soul-baring confession of a woman revealing what it was like to be treated like a show pony as a child star, as a disposable object as a wife, a whipping post as a sister and as a tabloid commodity as a celebrity. But above all else, it is a triumphant tale of a determined woman who refused to be broken — a fierce, loving and relatable human who is strong, flawed and real.”
“I’m going to have to read it,” Kyle added. “I’m very curious, actually.”
The mother of four also dished to Us Weekly at the event about her older sister's autobiography. Kyle admitted that Kim did not talk about the book with her previously. “Nothing’s been run by me,” Kyle divulged. “I don’t know what to think. You know, I knew she was writing it because we talked about it a little bit but not specifics.”
The Halloween Kills star added that when she first heard the headline, The Whole Truth, it was "a little jarring."
