Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars Lisa Vanderpump and Ken Todd have one of the longest-running marriages in reality television history: 37 years! The Sur owner recently dished on how they met and the short amount of time it took Ken to propose to her. Read on for all the details.
Lisa, 58, shared details with The Daily Dish about her beginnings with Ken, 61, on Monday, May 27.
"I was only with Ken six weeks when he asked me to marry him, which was kind of unbelievable,” she revealed.
“Because he'd been married before but for a very short time, had custody of his son, I think he was divorced by the time he was 22, so then it was 15 years later that he met me,” she continued.
"He met me through my brother; he'd known my brother quite a few a years,” Lisa explained. “He just said to me, 'I would never ask you to marry me because I know you left your last boyfriend because you didn't want to get married.’”
“I said, 'Well ask me anyway.' He said, 'Well, will you marry me?' I said, 'Yes.' So he says I kind of tricked him into it. So then we went out and we bought this little, tiny ring; I still have it, it's this little, tiny dot,” she revealed.
“And then within three months we got married,” Lisa finished.
