Teddi Mellencamp is a world-renowned health and wellness coach, supermom to her two kids and the star of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. But she didn't always feel so great in her own skin. The reality personality emotionally opened up about her body image issues when she was in her 20s in a candid Instagram post on November 6.

Next to a side-by-side photo of the 38-year-old in her 20s and one in her 30s, she wrote a lengthy caption describing her journey of self-love.

"What a difference a decade makes. In my 20’s, I was constantly obsessing over my double chin, always positioning my hand like in the pic above, not being present because I was always in my head. And it wasn’t an overnight quick fix that changed everything," the daughter of John Mellencamp began.

She continued, "Life is not a race — my journey to become the woman who’s comfortable in her 30’s skin hasn’t been easy but it has been worth it. With only eight weeks left in this decade, I pose this question: what are you ready to leave behind in the 2010s and what do you want to work on throughout the 2020s?"

"Let’s make this upcoming one the #decadeofdifference," Teddi concluded her caption.

The mother of two is currently pregnant with her third child and has no shame with baring her body anymore. The accountability coach shared a near-naked snap in September where she wrote about "loving her skin."

“When it comes to our bodies, we have a choice: to criticize them or embrace them,” she captioned the post. “I spent many years fixated on the stretch marks that run down my inner thighs or the loose skin on my arms I try to pose away in pics or how my face gets red and blotchy on days I am stressed or eat something that doesn’t agree with me.”

She added, “Not now. I am loving the skin I am in and feeling damn proud about it. Proud to be unapologetically me; a woman who works hard and believes the best is always yet to come, for my mind, soul and yes, body."
