The Real Housewives of Orange County personality, 42, posted a photo from the event where she sported a red gown and Sean wore a black suit and red pumps. "Supporting our kid, supporting the community ❤️ @tantrumssd @chadmichaelsallstar @urbanmos @lgbtqcenter," the reality star wrote. Braunwyn’s co-star Emily Simpson also attended the Tantrums & Tiaras drag show.

Braunwyn and Sean attended the event to show support for their son Jacob, who recently started getting into drag fashion. In January, she shared that the 14-year-old "decided to give the world of drag a try."

The Bravo celeb addressed the backlash Sean received on her Instagram Stories on February 18. “I woke up to a lot of DMs, a lot of questions from a lot of you and I just wanted to say, basically, why was my husband wearing heels."

One criticism that the Barefoot in Heels creator found in particular was her ex-RHOC costar Vicki Gunvalson's comment. Vicki, 57, took a screenshot of Braunwyn’s post and shared it to her Instagram Story. She captioned it, “Does anyone else see what is on Sean’s feet?”

The mother of seven continued, “We were supporting my son who recently started showing an interest in drag and we were on our way to a fundraiser for the LGBT youth center in San Diego. And it was Sean’s way of supporting his son and all the other kids that the youth center helps. But, more importantly, it was a way to take something that so many are uncomfortable of and try to normalize it.”

She added  that waking up to “all the hate that my husband’s getting for a pair of shoes sort of goes to show why this is so important."

"So, as long as a pair of shoes can be so pulverizing and divisive, it means we still have a lot of work to do because people aren’t understanding, people are judging," Braunwyn said. Braunwyn and Sean also share daughters Bella, 19, Rowan, 17, Koa, 4, and Hazel, 1, and six-year-old twins Caden and Curran.
