Briana Culberson’s son Owen appears to be doing much better after he injured his right arm on Monday, August 26. Her youngest child had a memorable first day of school when he arrived at the doctor’s office after falling off the monkey bars at school.
Briana’s husband Ryan posted an Instagram Story of Owen, 5, sliding down the railing at what appears to be his older brother Troy’s football game.
“#castlife” Ryan, 36, captioned the story. Owen’s bright green cast was still on his arm as he slid down like a boss.
Owen’s first day as a kindergartener began on a high note. Ryan posted progression shots of how everything went from good to bad on Instagram.
The 5-year-old happily posed for photos next to his big bro Troy, 7. They wore matching t-shirt and shorts with different kinds of shoes.
Things took a turn for the worse when Owen was seen grabbing at his right arm in the doctor’s office. Ryan revealed in the comments section that he broke his arm after falling off the monkey bars.
The injury was so bad that he had to wear a cast. Owen was later seen crying in front of their dog and looking super sad while relaxing on the couch. "First day of school was definitely one for the books!" Ryan captioned the set of pics along with funny hashtags like #atleasttheyrecute and #alwayssomething.
"Are you kidding me," RHOC star and family friend Tamra Judge wrote in the comments section. "This poor boy."
Owen’s days since his injury have been met with much happiness courtesy of his grandmother Vicki Gunvalson.
Vicki, 57, babysat him and Troy earlier this month while Ryan and Briana had a blast in Illinois. The married couple hit up a Chicago Bears game and also visited some of her family while there.
The “OG of the OC” spoiled her grandchildren by taking them out on an adorable ice cream date on Monday, September 9. “Enjoying my last full days with the boys before I head to NYC & @wwhl tomorrow night,” she captioned the cute Instagram snaps. “Nothing better than surprising them with a trip for ice cream. I love these boys more than words can say.”
