Emily Simpson is hitting the gym! The Real Housewives of Orange County star shared a sexy snapshot of herself during her workout where she sported some hot exercise gear. Emily, 43, showed off her recent 15-pound weight loss in the pic.
The Bravo star posted a photo of herself stretching outside of the the Ritz-Carlton in Laguna Niguel, CA. She accentuated her taut and toned behind in tight navy leggings and also wore a matching long-sleeved tee. White trainers peeked out from below her workout sweats.
"Working out hard to make mat! ??," the mother of three captioned the photo on Instagram. Emily referenced the Netflix docuseries, Cheer. The cheerleading TV documentary chronicles the lives of Navarro College's competitive cheer squad and their head coach Monica Aldama.
"That’s a #Cheer reference and if you haven’t watched it yet... go to @netflix right now and watch it! You’ll laugh, you’ll gasp, you’ll cry and you’ll stand up and cheer like a crazy person (like I did) when they compete in Daytona! @navarro_college_cheer," Emily continued.
The Ohio native credited wellness coach, Paulina Taylor Hefferan, for helping her achieve her weight loss goals. Emily joked that Paulina was her own personal "Monica" and explained how hard work can make a difference in one's life. "It’s such a testament to how anyone (regardless of circumstances) can accomplish anything they set their mind to with dedication, hard work, consistency and perseverance (and a true tough love mentor) if you want to make a difference in your life and your health start NOW.. right now," she continued her caption. "I’m lucky enough to have my own 'Monica' @paulinastein."
Emily concluded her post with the hashtags, "#workout, #cheer, #youcandoit, #rhoc, #cheerleading, #fit, #curvy, #effyourbeautystandards" and "#saltcreek."
The lawyer's post came amid uncertainty that she will be returning to RHOC for season 15. Both longtime stars Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Judge announced their exits on January 27. There's no word yet if Emily and costars Gina Kirschenheiter and Braunwyn-Windham Burke will receive contract renewals.
However, Shannon Beador and Kelly Dodd were confirmed to return on January 30. "Kelly and Shannon have been asked to return to the show," a source told HollywoodLife.com, adding that Shannon, 55, is "now going to have a chance to move past her issues with Kelly." Kelly, 44, was "honestly excited that Vicki and Tamra aren’t going to be returning," but Shannon "will miss her friends."
