Gina Kirschenheiter admitted it's hard for her to watch her divorce from ex-husband Matt air on the small screen. However, the Real Housewives of Orange County star won't let it stop her from loving her new boyfriend, Travis. The Bravo personality opened up about her beau and her split in a new interview.
Gina, 35, filed for divorce from Matt in 2018 and the two finalized the paperwork in August 2019. The ex-couple share three children — Nicholas, 7, Sienna, 5, and Luca, 3.
“I think it’s always been kind of hard for me to watch my own storyline because it is pretty real and raw and intense and hard,” she recently revealed Page Six.
The Long Island native added that it's harder to see herself going on dates on the show than to watch her divorce unfold. “For whatever reason, though, I get more embarrassed even watching me even reference in a very brief way like anybody who I went on a date with for like five seconds," she quipped.

Gina then got candid about Travis and how she appreciates his openness with his feelings. “So it’s kind of interesting because I basically don’t like anybody generally. And I kind of knew that I liked Travis before we even had met, just based off of like how we would talk to each other," she said.
"He was just like, really open with his feelings, like no game playing, no bulls**t. And we seem to have like the same outlook on life. And I kind of knew honestly that I really liked him before I even met him. So then I was just kind of like when he showed up for the first date, like, please think he’s hot. Please think he’s hot! And he is! So I win," Gina joked.
Back in September, the flight attendant confessed that she's open to the possibility of getting married again. “It’s interesting. I really was thinking 100 percent, no way,” Gina told Us Weekly at the time.. “It’s just a piece of paper, it’s just a contract — I’m not doing that again. There’s no reason, I already have my children. Being in this new relationship has kind of opened my mind a little bit to possibly, maybe getting remarried. So you never know. I’m staying open.” She added that Travis "has nothing to do with this Real Housewives world."
