Real Housewives of Orange County star Kelly Dodd is engaged to boyfriend Rick Leventhal! The reality star took to Instagram on Wednesday, November 13 to show off her massive diamond engagement ring just moments after the Fox News correspondent popped the question on a rooftop in New York City. They spent the rest of their night celebrating their engagement with friends at The Polo Bar.
"I got engaged. Look at that, it's a little big. Engaged!" Kelly said while holding up her rock on Instagram Stories. "You deserve a big ring," Rick told her. "Look at how bada** that ring is. Bam!" she added. She also posted a photo of them together on the balcony and gushed about her husband-to-be. "I can’t believe I just got engaged !! @rickleventhal you are my prince and my dream come true!!! #love #engaged #myprince," she wrote.
"Omg !!!! I’m so happy for you! Can’t wait to see you tomorrow and celebrate!!" costar Braunwyn-Windham Burke wrote in the comments section of Kelly's post. "Yay!!! Congrats! Can’t wait to celebrate tomorrow," Emily Simpson added. "Ahh congrats love! That’s soo exciting," Gretchen Rossi chimed in.
Their romance has moved at lightning speed. The couple started dating shortly after her split from plastic surgeon Brian Reagan at the beginning of August. They first met at a party in the Hamptons thrown by Real Housewives of New York City star Ramona Singer in July.

Kelly sparked engagement rumors in September when she told a fan they had set a wedding date, far before the TV personality actually got down on one knee. "Rick seems much better than the doctor. Normal and works for Fox. That's a 10/10 perfect score for me," one of her followers wrote on Instagram. "That's weird because we are getting married 10/10/2020," Kelly responded.
The lovebirds have been practically inseparable since they became official. Although Kelly is based in Orange County and Rick is based in New York City, they rarely go long periods without seeing each other. They took a romantic European vacation over the summer, and more recently they celebrated Halloween together with their matchmaker, Ramona.
Kelly hinted that Rick was planning to move to the OC in October. She posted a photo of herself and her friends enjoying the sunny weather and told Rick he was going to "love it" in California in her caption. If Rick does move to the West coast, it's unlikely he'll appear on camera for Bravo, as Kelly refuses to let him film.
