Shannon Beador is demanding Jim Bellino to turn over his bank records in their turbulent legal battle. The ex-husband of Alexis Bellino sued the Real Housewives of Orange County star and her castmate Tamra Judge in 2019 over claims that they defamed him on a podcast.
According to court documents, Shannon, 55, is back in court trying to obtain the $135,000 that Jim, 57, allegedly owes her.
Shannon is asking that the businessman shows up to court on February 6 along with his financial records, bank statements and income information. The reality star is aiming to review his financial information to try and seize his assets to pay the debt.
Court documents state that if Jim refuses to come to court, he could be found in contempt and he could be thrown in jail. Jim accused Tamra, 52, and Shannon of trashing his name on comedian Heather McDonald's podcast. He alleged that the duo spread lies about his and Alexis' divorce. Jim claimed that the comments lost him over $1 million in potential business.
The Cut Fitness CEO and the mother of three denied the allegations and a judge dismissed the claims against Shannon.
In April 219, Shannon requested that Jim be ordered to pay her $220,000 in attorney fees. In June, the judge told Jim to pay her a total of $137,340.25 for her lawyer's fees.
During the RHOC season finale that aired in December 2019, Tamra revealed her defense for the defamation suit had cost her over $300,000 and she broke down in tears over her financial woes on the show. "I could have put all my kids through college with the amount of money I paid for that lawsuit,” Tamra sobbed.
Earlier this month, Tamra was slammed by fans for spending money on big purchases amid her expensive court battle. She shared a photo on Instagram where she posed alongside a new Range Rover at a car dealership. One fan commented, "That lawsuit must not be hurting the bank too much. I love how you cry cry cry about it yet you spend money on such superficial materialistic things.” Another follower said, "I thought you were broke? Legal bills & all that.” The VENA CBD founder replied back, "Yes I’m broke," alongside a laughing emoji.
