Vicki Gunvalson announced her engagement to boyfriend Steve Lodge on Friday, April 26. Her Real Housewives of Orange County costar Tamra Judge appeared to tease a possible spinoff series later on that day that will be all about Vicki's third walk down the aisle. Read on for all the details.
Vicki, 57, debuted her engagement ring next to Steve, 60, on her Instagram.
Tamra, 51, shared a photo of her with Vicki later on in the day that hinted about a possible wedding spinoff.
She hashtagged it #vickisocwedding. The Cut Fitness owner had her own Bravo spinoff when she married now husband Eddie Judge called Tamra's OC Wedding back in 2013.
Was their engagement something that happened naturally for Vicki and Steve, or was it planned specifically for the show?
"Vicki knew the the only way she would stay on the show was if she made this engagement happen," an insider revealed to OK! "It was this or she loses her orange."
"Although everyone is really happy for her, she really left him with no other choice," the insider continued. "He was backed into a corner and even though she is not returning full time, this did guarantee her a spot as part-time housewife. It's no coincidence that this engagement happened at the same time filming is wrapping for the upcoming season of RHOC."
Rumors have swirled about Vicki's position on the upcoming 14th season of the show ever since Jeff Lewis shared claims about her being demoted to part-time on his radio show in February.
