'Real Housewives Of Orange County' Star Vicki Gunvalson Wants Her Own Spinoff About Her Family Amid Retirement Rumors

Vicki Gunvalson may be ditching The Real Housewives of Orange County in favor of having her own TV spinoff despite rumors she was retiring from reality TV for good. The Bravo celeb wants to host her own TV series about her family and business.

The news of the 57-year-old wanting her own spinoff comes just days after she was offered to be a "friend" on the upcoming season of RHOC. “Vicki hasn’t decided yet if she will accept a friend role again,” an insider told RadarOnline.com. “She has time to accept or decline the offer from Bravo bigwigs.”

On a recent Instagram post of the Coto Insurance CEO vacationing in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico with her brother and sister, a fan commented on the idea of a spinoff.

“Maybe you should create a spinoff about your family and business," the user suggested in the comments section. "That’s a great idea,” Vicki replied. She also tagged Andy Cohen and the network’s official Instagram account.

Another fan chimed in, “Agree, love you Vicki. Time to move on from those ladies. You have a great future filled with love. You don’t need that nastiness in your life.”

Vicki has been a main castmember in since the series' inception in 2006. Her daughter Briana Culberson, 32, and son Michael Wolfsmith, 35, have appeared on RHOC in large capacities over the last 14 years. Michael also worked for Vicki at her insurance company and will take over the business once she retires. Vicki is currently engaged to Steve Lodge, with whom she's also been vacationing in Mexico with. On January 20, rumors began to swirl that the businesswoman was planning to retire from the Bravo series. On an Instagram post, a follower asked in the comments section, “Lookin' like retirement." Vicki then replied, “Pretty soon."

“Is it true you are not coming back to RHOC?” another fan asked. “No truth to that. I don’t know yet,” Vicki responded. The Bravo star's possible retirement comes after news that the rest of her RHOC cast — Tamra JudgeShannon BeadorEmily SimpsonBraunwyn Windham-Burke and Kelly Dodd — were confirmed to return for the upcoming season. Star Gina Kirschenheiter's fate on the series is still yet to be decided.
