Bethenny Frankel alarmed fans when she filmed a video of herself on Tuesday with a small band-aid on her face. In response to their concern, the Real Housewives of New York City star revealed she “had a growth removed.” A source confirmed to People magazine that Bethenny is being tested for skin cancer. Bethenny’s own preventative measure comes just days after Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Judge revealed her own cancer scare!
Bethenny posted this video of herself asking followers to donate to the charity Dress For Success to help women affected by Hurricane Harvey.
In a second video Bethenny posted a day later, she was still wearing the band-aid, making fans wonder what had happened to the Bravo star.
When a fan asked if Bethenny had had a reaction to fillers, she replied, “No. Basil sic cell. I don’t do fillers. My jaw is the size of Pittsburgh. Nothing needs enhancement.”

Bethenny’s cancer scare follows Tamra’s own announcement three days ago. The RHOC star posted this cheeky photo of herself, captioning it, “Im showing you this picture because this is what melanoma looks like. I don't want sympathy, I want you to save YOU’RE A** and get your skin checked. This was just a small black flat freckle.... I had no idea!”
Tamra and Bethenny aren’t the only housewives with health issues. Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Hadid has struggled with lyme disease for years but recently said that she is 80% recovered.
